Ilan, like many of the great entertainers, started off as a juggler performing on the street. From juggling he was introduced to magic when his sisters bought him a simple magic set. After reading every magic book he could get his hands on, four or five times over, his knowledge of tricks became as well known as that of any old time magician. At age twelve he started performing at children’s birthday parties and soon after met Master Magician, Gary Lightinheart. Ilan became Gary’s apprentice and began studying the art of performing magic as opposed to just knowing its secrets.
   After receiving his Master’s Degree from the University of Florida, he became one the youngest authors of magic and published Fell’s Official Know-it-All Guide to Advanced Magic. Ilan has also developed courses that teach magic for several summer camps and after-school programs. (more)
